As a result of operation conducted by the General Directorate for Combating Drugs, the Astara police detained members of the group involved in drug trafficking. Among the detained residents of the region, are previously convicted: Ravan Rustamov, Igrar Mirzoyev, Aladdin Mamedov, Akif Nuriyev, Gulkhan Aliyev and Abuzar Ahadov, the press service of the Interior Ministry.
During the search more than two and a half pounds of drugs were found: 1.4 kg of opium, 703 grams of heroin, 400 grams of hashish, as well as a gun-type "Nagan" with seven bullets, one air pistol with 98 bullets. Alawsuit has been filed on the case. -04D-
