Elder of the settlement of Nardaran is not allowed to leave the country
Chairman of the Council of Elders of the Nardaran settlement, a member of the National Council of Democratic Forces (NCDF), Natig Karimov, is not allowed to leave the country, Turan was told by Karimov himself.
Every six months, he goes to Iran for treatment. However, last Friday he was not allowed to leave for Iran.
"The border guards told about the problems in my documents, and told me that a travel ban was introduced in April of this year," said Karimov.
The reasons for the ban are unclear to him. Karimov believes that this may be due to the actions of protest in Nardaran in early April against the arrest of theologian, Thale Bagirzade.
The initiative for the travel ban of Kerimov comes from Sabunchu District Police Office. Kerimov intends to go there on September 4 to clarify the reason for the ban.—05C06-
