Azerbaijani Defense Ministry held exercises in the departments of engineering and fortification troops for verification of readiness, training officers, engineering support in difficult military-operational conditions and management, improve morale and psychological stability of personnel.
During the exercise, were used new types of military vehicles of engineering and fortification of troops, in particular, the technique to eliminate obstacles, means for the construction of pontoon bridges, and others.
The construction of passes through minefields and manual blasting, wire overcoming obstacles was also tested. The level of combat readiness of the troops was evaluated as high. -06D-

As part of the struggle against illegal migration in Baku city, operative actions were carried out at different addresses. The Interior Ministry reports that employees of the Department for Combating Illegal Migration identified and detained 34 foreigners without documents giving the right to reside and stay on the territory of Azerbaijan.

During the operation of the Main Drug Control Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, 5 members of an organized group engaged in drug trafficking were detained. All of them have previous convictions: Bahlul Ismayilov, Royal Aliyev, Khayal Aliyev, Samir Aghayev, and Ali Mammadli.
