Fake Alcohol Manufacturers Detained
Baku / 22.04.20 / Turan: The Main Directorate for Combating Organized Crime of the Ministry of Internal Affairs detained residents of Baku Alain Maharramov and Ramil Huseynov on suspicion of transferring poisonous methyl, isopropyl and other alcohols used in industry to the pharmacy network. The liquid was introduced under the name "95% medical alcohol."
According to the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the detainees gave a confession that they organized the sale of counterfeit medical alcohol in pharmacies in Baku.
In the underground workshop of the dealers, 672 one-liter and 420 100-gram vessels with counterfeit medical alcohol were found, as well as 5 tons of liquid intended for subsequent bottling. –03B06-
