The game will be held at the Baku Olympic Stadium, built in 2015. The opening and closing of the first European Games, the Fourth Games of Islamic Solidarity took place here. Chelsea and Arsenal have already played in this arena. Chelsea in the 2017-2018 season as part of the Champions" League group stage, and Arsenal in the 2018-2019 season as part of the Europa League group stage held at this stadium against Karabakh.
The stadium can admit 68 thousand spectators. According to various sources, about 58 thousand tickets were sold the day before the final.
Arsenal arrived in Baku on May 25, and Chelsea on May 27. The clubs were initially allocated 6000 tickets for their fans, but later they returned a total of 5-6 thousand tickets. The clubs explained that their fans did not purchase tickets due to the need to overcome a long distance from London to Baku. At the same time, fans of clubs from other countries have already arrived in Baku.
Winter Park was designated as a gathering place for Arsenal fans, and Sahil Park was designated for Chelsea fans.
To the stadium, fans will be delivered by special buses, the timetable and stopping point of which will be distributed among fans in special brochures.
The political coloring of the final was given by the refusal of Arsenal midfielder, Armenian footballer Heinrich Mkhitaryan. Despite security guarantees from official Baku and UEFA, the Armenian footballer decided to skip the final on the advice of the family. -71D-
