FC Karabakh Wins Ticket to Group Stage of Europa League
Baku / 30.08.18 / Turan: The Azerbaijani football club Karabakh defeated the Moldovan FC Sheriff in Baku with a score of 3: 0 and won a ticket to the group stage of the Europa League.
The goals of the Agdam team were scored by Maxim Medvedev (9th minute), Donald Gerier (42), and Philip Ozobić (56).
Recall that a week ago Coach Gurban Gurbanov's team lost in Tiraspol with the score 0: 1.
This is the fifth attempt of Agdamians in the group stage of European cups. The champion of Azerbaijan of the last five years, FC Karabakh played three times
in the group stage of the Europa League, and last year the Agdamians made their way to the group stage of the Champions League.
