Five Days in Row Not to Be Workdays Due to Holidays in Azerbaijan
Baku / 28.12.20 / Turan: In connection with the upcoming holidays in Azerbaijan, five days in a row will not be working. Thus, December 31 in Azerbaijan is celebrated as the Day of Solidarity of the World Azerbaijanis, and January 1-2 – as New Year.
Since January 2 falls on Saturday, the next working day after the weekend - January 4 will become a non-working day.
Thus, five days in a row - from December 31 to January 4, will not be working.
The first working day in 2021 in Azerbaijan will be January 5. –05D06-

President of the European Parliament Roberta Metsola has invited Azerbaijani economist and political prisoner Professor Gubad Ibadoglu to Strasbourg to attend the 2024 Sakharov Prize award ceremony.
