An industrial accident occurred in construction management №4 of the SOCAR Neftgaztikinti Trust. As a result of this a man was killed.
As reported on the SOCAR website, the incident occurred on July 26 at about 18:00 during repair work on the pier in the field Palchig Pilpilasi. As a result of imbalance during the operation of the crane, the equipment fell into the sea. The foreman of the Trust Namig Mammadov, who was operating the crane, fell into the sea and drowned. Mamedov's body was picked up by divers.
The causes of the tragic incident are being investigated by a special commission. -06D--
