Four People Victims of Fire in Auto Repair Shop in Sumgait
Baku / 07/29/18/ Turan: Four people were burnt by a fire in the auto repair shop near Sumgait and died of the burn wounds.
According to the press service of the Prosecutor General's Office of Azerbaijan, on July 28, at 19:00 an explosion occurred in the car repair shop located on the 29th kilometer of the Baku-Guba route during welding works on repair of the DAF tank (99 JD 282).
As a result of the fire caused by the explosion, the workers of the shop Mushu Melikov, Rovshan Melikov and Akif Guliyev, as well as the driver of the car Farhad Rustamov, received severe burns. All the victims were hospitalized, but the doctors could not save their lives.
A criminal case was opened in the Sumgait city prosecutor's office under Article 162.3 (violation of the rules of labor protection, which caused the death of two or more people by negligence) of the Criminal Code of Azerbaijan. -06D--
