Commission for Democracy of U.S. Embassy Announces Small Grants Program for the winter and spring of 2014. According to information on the Embassy's website, the purpose of the program - contribution to the development of democratic institutions and civil society in Azerbaijan. The size of each grant can not exceed $ 24,000 and is allocated to non-profit NGOs, associations, independent local media, private citizens on a competitive basis. Projects may be submitted until March 25 this year.
Proposals for the establishment of an open and democratic society, the development of societies that support pluralism, as well as proposals to increase social responsibility are also welcomed.
