President Ilham Aliyev on May 25 took part in the groundbreaking ceremony of the newly built boulevard in the "White City."
This urban development project is based on the Presidential Decree on the implementation of the comprehensive plan of action to improve the environmental situation in Azerbaijan for the period 2006-2010.
"White City> (Baku White City) covers an area of 221 hectares in the former industrial area, covering including "Black City." Work on communications, infrastructure, consistent with the "Azerigas", "Azeryolservis", "Bakelektroshebeke", "Aztelecom."
Along with the Azerbaijani specialists the work involved engineering design companies Atkins, Foster Partners and FA Architects.
Today, President Ilham Aliyev visited the restoration works in Highland Park, and the museum of independence. -16D04-
