Head of AZTV wantic to sue the known TV reviewer
The head of the state television channel AZTV Arif Alishanov sued the famous TV-reviewer Gulu Maharamli on charges of defamation, and demanded to bring lawsuit against him. "Alishanov appealed to the Nasimi court after my interview with moderator.az, where I criticized his work," Maharramli told Turan. "In an interview I analyzed the history of the state television, and expressed my opinion about the alarming trends and the reasons that caused them," said Maharramli.
According to the reviewer, public censure is a form of social control, but AZTV perceived it "incorrect." Therefore, Alishanov’s actions have been so impulsive, Maharramli noted. -05В-
