New Landslide Area in Bayil Settlement?
Baku / 16.05.18 / Turan: An exogenous situation (land weathering) is observed near the 16-storey residential building in the Bayil settlement (9 Bukhtinskaya Street). This was stated by the head of the geological exploration exhibition of the Ministry of Ecology Aziz Garalov.
According to him, the processes in this zone have accelerated in recent days, threatening the local residents. It is impossible to establish the exact cause of the activation of the appearance of cracks on the ground and they can be different.
It should be recalled that Bayil is traditionally considered a landslide area and the mass of land is periodically activated there, which leads to the resettlement of a large number of people. -05B-
