Head of Military Medical Commission Arrested on Corruption Charges
The Deputy Chief Doctor of the Sabirabad Central District Hospital Rail Musayev has been arrested on bribery charges.
Being also the head of the military medical commission at the Sabirabad District Department of Civil Service to mobilize conscripts, he took bribes of AZN 500 for recognizing men unfit for military service. Musayev was taken red-handed in his office when receiving 200 manat of the amount.
The Anti-Corruption Department under Prosecutor General launched a criminal case under Article 311.1 (bribery). Musayev has been arrested.
The investigative and operational activities in this case are underway, the press service of Prosecutor General reported. -06D--

Last night, three earthquakes occurred along the Armenia-Azerbaijan border with magnitudes of 4.8, 3.0, and 3.8, according to the Republican Center for Seismological Service of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan. The Ministry of Emergency Situations reported no information about any destruction or casualties as a result of the earthquakes.
