Baku / 28.07.18 / Turan: On Friday, fires broke out around the forest near the village of Gyrlar in the Aksu region and Hyrkan National Park in the Astara region of the country. The Ministry of Emergency Situations of the country reports that the fire covered 2.5 hectares of territory in Aksu region. Further the spread of fire was stopped by the fire service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
In the Hyrkan National Park, fire covered more area - 10 hectares. The firefighters of the Ministry for Emergency Situations and workers of the Ministry of Ecology managed to prevent the continued spread of fire. The cause of the fire is not reported, however, dry weather each year causes fire spreading in the woodlands and on the sloping fields. -02D-
