Hunger Strike at Musavat Party Headquarters stopped
Baku / 22.01.19 / Turan: The hunger strike action that lasted at the headquarters of the Musavat party since January 6, demanding "Freedom for blogger Mehman Huseynov and political prisoners" stopped the night before.
Zafar Ahmedov, one of the participants of the action, the father of political prisoner Fuad Ahmedli, informed Turan agency about this.
According to him, the action was terminated due to appeals by the leaders of the Popular Front Party and Musavat, as well as numerous appeals of citizens.
"In addition, the decision was made in connection with the termination of a new criminal charge against Mehman Huseynov. Thus, the action partially achieved one of the goals," said Ahmedli.
