ICRC Representatives Visit Azerbaijani Prisoner of War
Last Friday, representatives of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) visited Azerbaijani POW Firuz Farajov in Armenia.
According to the ICRC Baku office, the soldier received information from his family and passed the ICRC a reply message to them.
Farajov was captured in July 2012. Recently, Armenia said the soldier expressed a desire to return home, but so far the Armenians claimed that he wanted to go to a third country.
On August 8, Armenian soldier Hagop Indzhigulyan crossed the frontline into Azerbaijan and Armenia insists on an exchange of these two prisoners of war. -16D06-
