Gatiba Ibrahim Gizi Alekperova is the name of the woman, which passed to the Armenian side on June 7. This was stated by the State Commission of Azerbaijan on Prisoners of War and Hostages.
Earlier, the Armenian authorities informed that the name of the citizen of Azerbaijan is Zohra Veliyeva.
The State Commission also reports that Gatiba Alekperova is a resident of the village Arabachy in the Gadabay district and she is registered in the regional mental hospital in Gazakh.
Measures are being taken for the release of Alekperova, according to the statement.
At the same time, the State Commission does not explain how the insane woman safely crossed the border, bypassing the military posts.
Recall that the residents of the village Yanigli of the Tovuz region, where Alekperova was last seen, reported that she is known as a fortune-teller and for her inappropriate behavior.
Yesterday the Red Cross Office in Yerevan visited Alekperova in the place of her detention. -03B-
