Ilham Aliyev allocates 2 million AZN for the European Cup U-17
President Ilham Aliyev has signed a decree on the allocation of 2 million manat ($1.2 million) for the Association of Football Federations of Azerbaijan for conducting in Baku the European football championship among juniors under the age of 17 years. Another 1 million Euros - for the UEFA championship. The costs of flights and accommodation will pay team themselves.
The final stage of the 15th European Football Championship U-17 will be held in Baku from 5 to 21 May 2016. Sixteen teams will take part in the European Championship. Matches will be held on four stadiums - Olympic Stadium Baku, «Bakcell arena", "Dalga arena", and the stadium named after Tofig Ismayilov in the Surakhani settlement.
Azerbaijani team has won the right to participate in the European Championship without the participation in the qualifying round at the owner's rights. -06D--
