In Saatly, two men drowned while rescuing young children
Baku/20.08.22/Turan: In the Saatli region, two men drowned in the river, saving two young children. According to the press service of the Prosecutor General's Office of Azerbaijan, the incident happened on August 19 in the late afternoon.
Residents of Gyragly village Subhan Astanov, born in 1979 and his nephew Akram Astana drowned in the Araz River near the village of Musaly while fishing. They rushed to save Akram Astanov's two young children drowning in the river, but drowned themselves.
The children were rescued by fishermen who were nearby, they are placed in the hospital, their health is satisfactory. The investigation is ongoing in the Saatly District Prosecutor's Office.—06B-
