In the new academic year, 158,608 children will go to the first form
Baku/15.09.21/Turan: Full-time classes will start in secondary schools of Azerbaijan in a week. On September 22, school students of I-IV forms will go to schools; from September 29 - school students of V - XI forms.
According to the Ministry of Education, 1,589,829 school students will study in general education institutions in the 2021-2022 academic year.
Note that 158,608 children will go to the first form, and 132,881 and 91,538 children will go to the final 9 and 11 forms respectively.
Also, the Ministry informed Turan that teachers and technical staff having no vaccination or immune passport or certificate of contraindication to the vaccine will not be allowed to enter educational institutions.
At present, there are 4,435 schools in the country, including 309 primary, 3,333 full-time secondary, 775 secondary general education, 13 specialized secondary and 5 full-time (evening) full-time secondary schools, including 64 lyceum schools, 54 lyceums, 15 gymnasiums and 16 boarding schools with integrated education and one boarding school with integrated education.
Note that In the 2021-2022 academic year, 7,030,264 textbooks of 270 titles were published for general education institutions. -0-
