The Azerbaijani Islamic Party has been evicted from its office, Deputy Chairman of the party, Vugar Ibayev told Turan. "This morning the party’s office party near the metro station Nizami was visited by people in civilian clothes who demanded our leaving the premises," he said.
The owner of the premises said the same, despite the one-year lease contract with the party. The owner explained this, saying the premises would be given to others.
After that, the new tenants, without waiting for the departure of the Islamists, brought their things into the room. However, the IPA members agreed with the owner to wait until the party finds a new office.
According to Vugar Ibayev, on May 30 members of the party held a rally in front of the Saudi embassy in Baku, demanding the release of Ayatollah Sheikh Nimri sentenced to death in Saudi Arabia. The protesters also opposed the bombing of Yemen by the Saudi regime. After these protests, pressure started on the Islamic Party of Azerbaijan, the IPA activists said. -05D04-

In the last two days, a "news" story appeared on TikTok about a whale spotted on Baku's seaside boulevard. The most "observant" users posted videos, commenting on the size of the animal. Later, other "witnesses" claimed it wasn't a whale, but a shark. Even later, a version emerged suggesting it was a submarine.
