Restrictions on Entry to Baku Come into Force
Entry of vehicles registered in the country to Baku has been banned from June 1. As stated in the report of the Traffic Police Office, these restrictions are temporary and they are connected with the large influx of visitors to the European Games.
These limits will help regulate traffic and prevent traffic jams. The ban also affects cars from the city of Sumgait.
Earlier, the authorities reported that during the European Games (12-28 June), on the north and the west entrance of Baku they would create parking where drivers could leave their cars and then get to the city by bus. -02D-
