As reported by Rosbalt, the Italian authorities declared wanted by Interpol seven "thieves in law" - Rovshan Dzhaniev ( Rovshan Lenkoransky), six Georgians and one Armenian.

According to the Carabinieri, the persons are involved in murders, organized crime and money laundering. The Italians believe that many of these individuals may be in Russia, and the Russian authorities are asked to provide relevant information.

On June 18, 2013 thirteen "thieves in law" were arrested simultaneously in the Czech Republic , Lithuania, Portugal, France , Spain, Austria , Germany and Hungary. It turned out that for several years the Italian police tapped talks of the gangsters. During those talks they, in particular , discussed plans to eliminate the "thief in law" Aslan Usoyan (Grandad Hassan), who was eventually killed by a sniper in Moscow in January 2013.

Earlier, on suspicion of arranging this murder Rovsan Dzhaniev's pal, Rufo Ganjansky (Rufat Nasibov) was arrested . -02D-
