J. Huseynov"s Relative Detained, He Removed from Core of FC Gabala
One of the suspects in the murder of the journalist Rasim Aliyev has been detained. According to the site musavat.com, he is a cousin of the football club Gabala player Javid Huseynov, Elshan Ismayilov. The Metropolitan Police Department takes measures to apprehend other participants in the crime.
Meanwhile, FC Gabala made a statement and reported the dismissal of Huseynov of the club's basic structure.
The news of the journalist Rasim Aliyev's death shocked FC Gabala, the statement said.
"No one has a right to threaten anyone or to use violence," the document says.
"The mention of the name of the FC Gabala player Javid Huseynov in connection with this incident has caused deep sorrow. Despite the fact that Javid Huseynov is a very important player for the team Gabala, he has been suspended from the basic structure until this matter is clarified," the statement said.
