"Karabakh secured playoffs in Conference League
Baku/14.10.22/Turan: Thursday's match of the 4th round of Group G of the Europa League between FC "Karabakh" from Aghdam and Greek "Olympiakos" ended in a zero draw.
Despite Karabakh's best efforts to score against Olympiacos, the hosts' attacks were either interrupted or ended with inaccurate shots.
"After their drastic defeat at home to Karabakh a week ago, Olympiacos was happy to get a draw and earn their first point.
The draw allowed Karabakh to secure the second place in the group with 7 points and break away from Nantes that is in the third place with 4 points.
"Karabakh" has secured a ticket to the playoffs of the Conference League, because they will not fall lower than the 3rd place in the group, no matter what the final result is.
In order to secure the playoffs of the Europa League itself, Karabakh needs only a draw in their next away match against Nantes. -06D-
