Khavar Mammadov continues his rector career
By the order of Ilham Aliyev, Khavar Mammadov was appointed rector of the Baku Engineering University, established at the end of last year. It is noteworthy that last year Mammadov was appointed rector of the University "Caucasus", which earlier this year "self-destructed." At the same time, its property, including the building, was "voluntarily" transferred to the Baku Engineering University. The "Caucasus" University was closed because of the connection with the movement "Hizmet" of the Turkish preacher Fetulla Gulen, whom Ankara was accused of organizing a coup attempt. Previously, Khavar Mammadov headed the Azerbaijan Technical University. -06D-
