By the decision of the Nasimi court of Baku the activist of the movement "Muslim Unity" Elkhan Isgandarov was arrested on Thursday for three months. He was brought to criminal responsibility for the Nardaran events in 2015, said his lawyer Fariz Namazli. According to the investigation, all this time Iskenderov was hiding from the police.
The lawyer noted that Isgandarov was charged with the same charges as the deputy chairman of the movement "Muslim Unity" - terrorism with the use of firearms, calls for terror, calls for riots and disobedience to the demands of government officials,
The lawyer has not yet met with the defendant. The defender said that in all likelihood, the decision on the arrest will be appealed.
