More than 3,600 athletes from 48 European countries will take part in the competition. Over 35 sets of medals, athletes will compete in 10 sports in 12 arenas. Over 2500 volunteers are involved in the competition. The idea of holding this event appeared in 1990, and already in 1991 for the first time the Festival was held in Brussels.

Gunduz claims that the problem is in the Ministry of Communications. That is, the state providers controlling 50% of the market refuse to do this.
