Metro schedule extended due to a football match
Schedule of the two metro stations "Khalglar dostlugu" and "Neftchilar" will be changed on November 3 in connection with the match in the Europe League between "Gabala" and the French "Saint-Etienne". According to Turan, head of the press-service of CJSC "Baku Metro" Nasimi Pashayev said that the schedule was changed at the request of "Gabala" club management and for the convenience of passengers. The match will begin at 22:00. If the passenger flow is dense after 1:00, then these stations in the vicinity of «Bakcell-Arena» stadium will continue to work. At other stations the entrance will be closed, as usual, at 00:00.
It should be noted that today will be held the fourth round of the group stage of the Europe League. The club "Gabala", which was in the same group with the Belgian "Anderlecht", German "Mainz" and the French "Saint-Etienne" has lost all three games lost. Today in the Europe League is another Azerbaijani team - "Karabakh". Agdam will hold the fourth round away against Greek club PAOK. Last night, three earthquakes occurred along the Armenia-Azerbaijan border with magnitudes of 4.8, 3.0, and 3.8, according to the Republican Center for Seismological Service of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan.
