Migration Service Deported Record Number of People
In Azerbaijan 564 people were penalized for violating the immigration regime in March. Among them - 71 were fined, the press service of the State Migration Service said.
468 foreigners were ordered to leave the country within 24 hours, and 21 were expelled from the country by administrative order. Four more lost their documents which were issued by the Azerbaijani side.
Over the past five years, more than 28 thousand foreigners violated occupation and employment policies in Azerbaijan. Fines were applied to 6,738 of them and 22,231 were expelled from the country.
It should be noted that a significant number of foreign infringers are Azerbaijanis - citizens of Georgia. They do not have special rights and they are subject to sanctions such as Bangladeshis or Roma. -16D04-
