Group of military attaches accredited in Azerbaijan visited today the front line near the place where the Armenians released artillery shell filled with chemicals in the form of white phosphorus. According to the official representative of the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry, 20 military experts from 11 countries examined the funnel formed by the shot of the banned 122 mm artillery shell filled with chemicals.
The fact has been documented, and the materials will be sent to all international organizations. "Let everyone know that the Armenians fire Azerbaijani villages with banned chemical weapons," said Hajiyev. On May 11 military attaches of foreign embassies accredited in Azerbaijan went to the frontline zone. As Turan was told by the Azerbaijan Foreign Ministry spokesman Hikmet Hajiyev, the trip involves 20 military attaches and the German Embassy’s representative, as Germany is the OSCE Chairman.
In particular, the military attaches are acquainted with the facts of the use of phosphorous shells against the Azerbaijani population by the Armenian side, which took place in the village Askipara of the Terter region.
"This type of weapons is banned by international conventions. The military attaches will be provided all the information and facts,” he said.
