Ministry of National Security (MNS) confiscates 212 kilo of drugs
In recent days, the MNS exposed a group of people involved in drug trafficking, and 212 kilo of drugs were confiscated. According to the Public Relations Center of the MNS, during a joint operation of the MNS and the Russian FSB, a Russian citizen , born in Goychay region of Azerbaijan, Nadir Abdullayev and three other persons, who by prior agreement brought to Moscow 210 kilo of hashish, were detained.
It was found that the drugs were smuggled and delivered in a European country, then hidden in flowers before being transported to Moscow.
In addition, the attempts of drug trafficking on the Iran-Azerbaijan bus route were prevented. As a result of a special operation, 205 grams of heroine and 1.762 kilo of marijuana were confiscated.
Lawsuits were filed on all facts, and the suspects were arrested. Necessary investigative and operational actions are ongoing. –03D06-
