Baku/30.08.22/Turan: Former convict Ilham Abbasov was detained on suspicion of drug trafficking during Lankaran city police operation. A a personal search made it possible to seize 2 kg of heroin and 520 grams of opium from him, the Interior Ministry said.
Besides, 4.4 kg of marijuana hidden by Abbasov on a garbage dump was found.
It was found that Abbasov bought drugs for sale from a resident of the region, Vugar Huseynov, who was also detained. At the same time, 44 grams of heroin and 67 grams of opium were found with the latter.
Note that over the past 10 days 21 drug suspects have been detained in Lankaran. -05В06-
