From October 3, Azerbaijani pilgrims will leave for the hajj, a department head at the Caucasus Muslims Office, Mugaddas Payizov, told Turan.
According to him, the Hajj pilgrims will travel by aircraft. A total 14 flights will be carried out to Saudi Arabia for five days. The planes will land in Jeddah.
At this year's Hajj a little more than three thousand people will be pilgrims from Azerbaijan.
Travel by bus has been canceled for the third year due to the armed conflicts in Syria and Iraq.
The cost of travel this year ranges from 3,750 to 4,100 manat.
This amount includes meals, accommodation and other expenses.
The pilgrims will return to Baku from the airport of Medina.
Along with the pilgrims, doctors will go on hajj. They will monitor the health of the pilgrims and create a small on-site medical center.
This year Kurban Bayram (Holy Sacrifice Day), held immediately after the expiration of the hajj, will be celebrated on October 15-16. -05B04-
