Nasib Piriyev refutes any loan from International Bank of Azerbaijan
Statement Issued on Behalf of Nasib Piriev, CEO of the PNN Group, in Relation to Developments in Azerbaijan:
“Nasib Piriev wants to correct certain inaccuracies that have been reported in Azerbaijan in recent days. While his name has been listed with Interpol by the Azerbaijan authorities in Baku, he is not a fugitive from justice and is currently working with his legal counsel to reverse this unjustified action.
Mr Piriyev, who is presently in London with his family, categorically denies that there is any justification for action against him. Neither Mr Piriev nor any company owned by Mr Piriev has any outstanding loans from International Bank of Azerbaijan.
Mr Piriev will be writing to his various partner companies in Europe, USA, Russia and China informing them of these developments.
In addition, Mr Piriev wants to place all interested parties on notice that he reserves his rights to take legal action against any person attempting to damage his reputation through the propagation of false accusations or the publishing of malicious articles”, – reads the statement, sent to Turan agency.
Recall that Nizami Piriyev - father of Nasib Piriyev, as saying was detained in Baku and spent several days in the Interior Ministry Department. The reason – his credit debts to the International Bank. The amount was not declared officially but according to rumors it is about US500-800 mln. -02D-

During search and operational activities, on January 30 at 11:20, 16.4 kg of drugs were discovered and seized in the area of the "Geytapa" border post, located on the Iran-Azerbaijan border.
