Natig Jafarli was able to leave the country
Baku / 01.10.19 / Turan: Contrary to the court decision banning the exit from Azerbaijan, Natig Jafarli, executive secretary of the Republican Alternative Party, was able to leave the country today.
On September 28, he received a letter that on September 19, the Sabail District Court imposed a ban on his departure from the country due to tax debt remaining since 2014.
However, Jafarli said that in 2017 the criminal case on charges of tax evasion was dismissed, and since then he has not been engaged in entrepreneurship.
"On September 30, I went to the Ministry of Taxes to investigate. It should be noted that I was received politely and they promised to clarify the issue. They suggested that it was a "technical error." I wrote a statement and they told me that they would answer me in the coming days. I was told that there is no ban on my departure from the country," Jafarli wrote on his facebook page, confirming that he had safely left the country. -06D-
