Nepalese and Sri Lankan citizens detained while trying to cross into Georgia
Baku/18.04.23/Turan: On the night of April 6, border guards in the Shamkir region detained four people while trying to illegally cross into Georgia.
Two of the violators were Nepalese citizens, and two were Sri Lankans.
During the investigation of this incident, it was found that Baku resident Huseynov Nadir, born in 1984, provided assistance to foreigners in illegally crossing the border. In a bid to modernize and regulate the taxi industry in Baku, mobile patrols of the state traffic police have launched a series of raids aimed at ensuring that taxi drivers comply with newly established requirements.
