Netherlands police warns Azerbaijani political émigrés about danger
Baku /14.02.20 / Turan: Opposition journalist Turkel Azertürk, who is in political exile, announced a warning by his Dutch police about an impending assassination attempt.
“Last night, Dutch police officers came to us. They said that according to information received from reliable sources (in Azerbaijan), that he and another 9 people are being assassinated.
In fact, the police are investigating and recommends that the following persons observe the maximum precautions: Ganimat Zahidov (Zahidova), Emin Ahmedbekov, Turkel Azersu (Azerturk), Leila Yunus, Arif Yunus, Sevinj Mirzoyeva (Osmangizi, Arif Mammadov, Ordukhan Temirkhan, Gabil Mamedov, Vidadi Iskenderli,”Azertürk wrote on his facebook page.
Azertürk writes that in recent days he has felt surveillance by unknown people in the area where he lives.
