Jeyhun Hasanov has been appointed Head of the Penitentiary Service of the Ministry of Justice, a law enforcement source told Turan.
Prior to that, Hasanov served as Chief of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Head Transport Department.
However, the text of the President’s order to appoint Hasanov has not yet been published.
The post of Head of the Penitentiary Service has been vacant since December 2015 after Madat Guliyev was appointed as Chief of the State Security Service. -03B-
