Employees of ATV Beaten in Shamakhi
The Azerbaijani Interior Ministry reported the beating of journalists of the television channel ATV. The incident occurred on June 4, at about 19.00 in the Shamakhi region during the shooting of the project Revision.
Azer Ismayilov, Elgun Bayramli, Logman Ismayilov, Arif Guliyev and Polad Akhundzadeh suffered in the canteen called Shamakhi. The owner of the object Hussein Allahverdiyev and his cousin Elschad Osmanov attacked the journalists, beating them, breaking their camera, voice recorder and other equipment, according to the press-service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The collected materials were sent to the Shamakhi district prosecutor's office.
The prosecutor's office, in turn, confirmed the information, noting that the issue of a criminal case will be decided, depending on the results of the investigation.
It is noteworthy that the channel itself did not make a statement even inform about this fact. -16D-
