Oil workers evacuated from fields due to storm
Baku/04.04.22/Turan: Stormy winds on the territory of Azerbaijan will continue until April 5, the National Hydrometeorological Service said on Monday.
As of midday on April 4, the wind speed reached 32 m/s in Naftalan, 24 m/s in Ganja, 22 m/s in Agdam, Terter, 20 m/s in Barda, 18 m/s in Gobustan and Shamkir, 15 m/s in Khachmaz, 38 m/s in Baku and Absheron.
The height of waves at Neft Dashlary was 2.6 meters.
During the April 4 the wind speed in some places will reach 33-38 m/sec.
Owing to the unstable weather, "Azneft" has strengthened safety measures in the industrial areas in the sea and on land. In particular, the work has been limited, the employees evacuated.-06B-
