Baku / 11.11.17 / Turan: 52-year-old Fikret Gozalov, who was injured in an accident at the Garadagh site of the Garadagh-Galmaz Production Association (PA), died on November 10, the man's relatives told Turan.
Recall that two oilmen suffered as a result of the accident in the drilling of Well No. 490 at the Garadagh site of the Garadagh-Galmaz PA of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR). In particular, when being lifted to the receiving platform, as a result of the rocking of the auxiliary winch, driller assistants Fikret Gozalov and Javad Adilov were injured. Adilov was discharged from hospital on November 6.
Earlier, on November 4, Rasim Aliyev, 59-year-old driller assistant, died on deep-water platform No. 14 of the Oil and Gas Production Department named after May 28. Over the past two years, more than 40 oil workers were killed at the offshore facilities of SOCAR. -05D06--
