Ombudswoman Visits Rauf Mirkadyrov and Arif Yunus in Detention Center of Ministry of National Security
The Ombudswoman Elmira Suleymanova visited the Ministry of National Security detention center, where she got acquainted with the conditions of detention and treatment, as well as ensuring the rights of detainees, the press service of the Ombudswoman said.
In particular, Suleymanova met face to face with the journalist Rauf Mirkadyrov, the human rights activist Arif Yunus and others.
According to the same source, the detainees did not complain about the conditions of detention and treatment, as well as the quality of food and medical care, the report said. However, the press service says nothing about the opinion of the prisoners about their arrest. Recall that Mirkadyrov and Yunus are recognized as political prisoners. -06D-
