One person killed and five others injured in fire in shopping center Karvan, Sumgait
A fire occurred in the shopping center Karvan in Sumgait in the evening of October 9. The fire started at about 21.00. Extinguishing the fire were involved 7 fire brigades. After 40 minutes the fire was extinguished.
Turan was told in the MOE that, as a result of the fire, one person died from choking with the smoke. Five others were hospitalized with a diagnosis of poisoning by the smoke.
The fire covered about 350 square meters of the trading area.
The causes of the fire are under investigation.
It should be noted that a year ago, October 19, 2013 in the same shopping center there also was a large fire. Then 22 people were poisoned by the smoke or were injured, but no one was killed. The fire burned about 6 thousand square meters of the retail space on the 2nd and 3rd floors. -06D--
