Organizations Working in Occupied Territories to Be Included in Black List - Minister
Baku / 19.04.17 / Turan: Foreigners conducting excavations in the occupied territories of Azerbaijan will be included in the ‘black list’, the Minister of Culture of Azerbaijan Abulfaz Garayev said.
In a conversation with journalists, he said that today a number of companies and individuals are engaged in the restoration work or excavations in the territories of Azerbaijan occupied by Armenians.
“In fact, this activity is aimed at falsifying history and it is regretful that scientists from a number of countries take part in this. If such facts are revealed, the Azerbaijani side will cease cooperation with these organizations and individuals,” he said.
It should be noted that the Armenian side has been conducting archaeological and restoration work on historical monuments and objects in and around Nagorno-Karabakh for several years. The purpose of such an activity is to prove their Armenian origin. Some of these works are carried out by foreign specialists and scientists. -02D-
