Baku/26.09.22/Turan: The Party of People's Front of Azerbaijan (PPFA) will hold a rally in front of the Milli Mejlis on September 30. The organizers of the action are PPFA activists: Nureddin Mammadli, Vahid Magherramli, Ilham Huseyn and Sagif Gurbanov.
According to Turan, one of the organizers of the action, Vahid Mugerramli, on September 21, they sent a notification to the executive power of Baku regarding the upcoming action. No response has yet been received.
Vahid Magherramli stated that the action is being held in protest against the reactionary bill on political parties. The participants intend to demand the release of political prisoners, hold free elections, open land borders and urgently return compatriots living in Russia.
The authorities have not yet expressed their attitude to the upcoming action and the requirements of the PPFA. -03-
