Baku / 28.02.20 / Turan: Citizens suspected of coronavirus hospitalized in the Astara Central District Hospital are unhappy with the conditions in this institution. Radio Azadlig was informed about this by one of the patients, Rahila Musayeva, who arrived in Azerbaijan from Iran on February 26.
“We were in Iran for two days, when we returned we were checked and told that after check-up we will be released in 15 minutes. However, for three days we are here.
Here unsanitary conditions are very inconvenient. We cannot eat food that is cooked in unsanitary conditions; we cannot wash ourselves. There is no question of hot water at all, and cold water was given only today,” the woman said.
According to her, the hospital is filled with quarantined, they are in different buildings.
“There are two and three people in the wards, a corridor and toilet are shared. In the hospital, they measured our temperature, took blood samples and lubricants from the throat. They don’t tell us how long we will stay here,” the woman said. Previously the head physician of the Astara hospital was removed from office.
According to official figures, about 190 people with suspected coronavirus are in Azerbaijani hospitals — 21D-
