PFPA activist fined for status in social networks
Baku/11.06.19/Turan: The Nasimi district court of Baku on June 11 sentenced the activist of the Popular Front Party (PFPA) Bashir Tariverdiyev to 100 manats of fines. He was found guilty under Article 510 (petty hooliganism) of the Code of Administrative Offenses. According to the police, he allegedly obscenely expressed on the street.
According to Tariverdiev, Turan was detained by people in civilian clothes on June 10 in the afternoon in Binagadi district, when he left work. He was brought to the Binagadi District Police Department, where he drew up a protocol on the commission of an offense.
Late in the evening, he was released, ordering on June 11 at 9 am to appear in the Nasimi district court. According to the activist, the reason for his punishment was his comments on social networks criticizing Ilham Aliyev. -21C -
