PFPA activist reported new pressure on him

Baku/05.03.19/Turan: The conditionally youthful activist of the Popular Front Party of Azerbaijan (PFPA) Ruslan Nasirli, who was sentenced to 3 years of imprisonment, said he was pressured by unidentified people.

An unknown person, posing as an employee of the Directorate General for Combating Organized Crime of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, calls him on the messenger and demands to meet.

"They he said to me:" We released you, we need to meet to clarify something," said Nasirli. An unknown person reacted negatively to his proposal to send an official call to the police.

The activist believes that the authorities are dissatisfied with his speeches after the completion of a high-profile trial of allegedly illegal financing of the PFPA. Ruslan Nasirli is the person involved in this falsified criminal case. He was convicted of money laundering and sentenced to 6.5 years of probation with a three-year probation period. -06D-
